Excellent performance; excellent venue
Rod Stewart, he is very good at showcasing their abundant talents, knows how to put on an excellent show. His library of music is so large that he cannot perform everything. He surrounds himself with excellent support performers. My only disappointment was that he did not perform any selections from his Great American Songbook CD's which rekindled a whole new genre of music to associate him with. It would have been nice to hear him perform some of those great songs. Still, it would have required an orchestra much larger than the "tight" band that backed him up. Other than that, he knows how to entertain and the Colosseum venue at Caesars is a great venue - large stage and excellent acoustics.
